My Story:
Aside from my qualifications, I feel that it is important to share a little bit about my journey in mathematics with you as well. During K-12 I struggled significantly in my math courses. I often found myself "working twice as hard to be half as good". It wasn't until college that I developed an aptitude and even passion for math. It is because of this that I maintain a certain sensitivity toward and understanding of those with math anxiety. I am not dissuaded by frustration or tears as those are things very familiar to me. In addition to my content knowledge,I think my own past struggles have contributed greatly to my success in meeting the needs of my students whether in a classroom or tutoring setting. I look forward to working with you or your student!
Why is it called a "virtual" math lab?
All of my tutoring services are offered through the ZOOM platform! It is my hope that this method will reach clients such as students taking part in a distance-learning program or parents trying to further their education. This approach is also an excellent option to maintain social distancing while receiving one-on-one support from a professional educator.

Rate:$45/session (includes $10 for prep)
Due to COVID-19, many students
missed important instruction in
the 2019/2020 school year. I
will provide lessons as well as
homework for the topics missed.

for prep time)
Payment
I accept payments via Venmo. A very easy-to-use app which is available for iOS and Android. I will provide you with instructions for this once you have requested a service. If this payment method does not work for you we can explore other options.
